Watch: Nikola Jokic completes the ridiculous and-one

The Timberwolves are double-teaming Nikola Jokic. Sometimes he scores anyway.

After Jokic burned them for 40 points and 13 assists in Game 5, the Wolves consciously tried to keep the MVP from killing them in Game 6. They’ve sent a series of double teams to force the ball out of the Joker’s hands and make his teammates beat them.

In the first half, they mostly didn’t. Jamal Murray was 1-of-10 and missed all his three-pointers. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shot 1-of-3. The Nuggets reserves were scoreless as Minnesota took a 59-40 halftime lead.

Jokic had 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting, the only thing keeping Denver from getting completely blown out. But he only had one assist, a result of Minnesota’s ball pressure and the Nuggets' series of bricks.

At least the Joker still has his dunk game.

Even when his team is getting waxed, Jokic remains a freak of nature.
